The academic program at RVIS is student-centered and academically challenging. Our program allows children to become actively engaged in their learning and provides them with a strong foundation for their future studies. Literacy is a particular focus for elementary children at RVIS. Students are exposed to the latest educational practices in balanced literacy based on current research and best practices in US schools. Developmental continuums will be used to monitor their progress in reading and writing and to ensure that instruction is differentiated for each child.
